Often the issue of Law and Grace is thrown around in Christian circles. Bad hermeneutics is used to try and eliminate the Law of God for the Church. Legalism seems to be a loose term wildly thrown about in Christian
circles today. It is used to warn believers of the “dangers” of seeking
to be faithfully obedient to God’s Word/Law. Seeking to walk obediently
before God is often equated with legalism. Labels stick. As members of the body of Christ we need to seek to unify more, remembering that we are to be committed to Christ and His people. From this commitment flows an obedient love. A love that seeks to faithfully bear the image of God.
